Adria created Iron Horse Riding Academy in 2009 after years of teaching and managing other Riding Schools. She worked as a working student for trainers, became an instructor at her college and over summer breaks back in Oregon, and finally managed a larger Riding School, gaining knowledge in a broad range areas. Before working in the horse industry, Adria studied Molecular Biology and was a Veterinary Technician; increasing her ability to manage all her school horses and clients horses with custom tailored care. She also grew up in a home of athletic teachers, now being able to take a lifelong knowledge of teaching sports and molding it into her own personal style that works for many types of students.

Iron Horse Riding Academy teaches adults and children the art of English riding with a focus on Eventing with good equitation. We teach our students how to care for the whole horse along with how to ride well. The goal is to teach our students to think for themselves and become lifelong learners even after they leave the Riding Academy ranks. Come out and join us for fun lessons and a great teamwork oriented group of students!
