Brawley Farms North
Debbie Brawley has been one of the top NW professionals for the past 30 years. To say she has horses in her blood is an understatement. Her parents established Brawley Farms when she was a child and for 55 years, have continued to guide and inspire students throughout the Northwest. Instructed by her mother Judy Brawley in the systematic traditional style, Debbie had fantastic success as a junior and amateur before turning professional. Debbie had the notable experience of participating at Hunterdon, George Morris’s renowned training facility in New Jersey. She also had the privilege to be under the tutelage of Frank Madden and the late Bill Cooney.
From walk/trot to the grand prix level, Debbie thrives on helping her students improve. She and her professional team strive to create successful partnerships by carefully developing both the horse and the rider’s physical and mental capabilities enabling all levels of riders to receive safe instruction on their own horses or one of her reliable school horses. With an emphasis on building a solid foundation of flat work and jumping fundamentals, the program is further enhanced by a positive, safe, and enjoyable learning atmosphere. Debbie focuses on developing a good partnership between horse and rider—the ultimate goal—improved communication and teamwork between horse and rider.
